Sly Stallone once said that F1 was the “greatest sport on earth”. The problem is that it drove him to make the movie Driven for which he should never be forgiven. And therein lies the the crux of the F1 dilemma: one of the most compelling spectacles in all of the entertainment industry seems hell bent on expressing itself in terms that can only be described as astonishingly odd.
I don’t really have an agenda for this blog other than to comment on the soap opera that is the F1 Teams, Drivers, Sponsors, Manufacturers, Commercial Management and of course, those wacky guys in the FIA. Oh, yeah, and I understand that there may be some racing involved too.
